It's no problem at all , Caltex service stations have no put E85 at the pump , my nearest station is 10 minutes from my home which is cool , the timing of this has worked out perfectly as bought the alcohol carb conversion a year ago , all comes from our sugar cane plantations , a very important thing is to use speedway engine oil .
My engine is dry as I just fitted the 612 crank and every tune up part our hosts offer , spent thousands of bucks on it , thou I will save up for the belt drive clutch as the chain is a tad noisy and has to be ajusted every now and again .
I dont think England will offer alcohol fuel for a long time yet as cold countrys will have much harder starting issues , this is why the fuel here has 15% petrol to aid starting , not yet a true bio fuel but in the old days when I worked in a motorcycle shop which had it's own speedway bike , I used to help it start after each rebuild and that was pure methonal ( M100 ) and it was pretty easy in the summer . Some of our hosts parts blow my mind , the crank is a work of art and the push rods are as light as a feather ,I know the rev range will be higher ...maybe 6,000 rpm but I have digital ignition with a 5,800 rpm limiter , too much money has been spent to even risk that. Just before the STD big end shit itself I got a realy low tick over after twin pluging the head so now it burns both sides of the combustion chamber .

According to Caltex, E85 is made from waste starch from wheat production, molasses from sugar production and sorghum. With a bit of petrol.
