I had no idea there was so much pressure the fuel pipe has to cope with on a EFI. I replaced mine with a length of rubber petrol pipe and after a short run it had expanded to twice it's size. I replaced that pipe with reinforced pipe, even that feels a bit soft. Not sure if there is a standard for injector fuel pipe ???

Hi RoSy
Why did you change it, may I ask? Was your engine idling/running badly or did you have a fuel leak?

The original was hard and cracked and had a minute spray leak. The bike had been standing for 4 years before I bought it, so quite a bit of recomissioning.

Hi RoSy... Yes, you need fuel injector pipe. Standard hose will burst!!! Any decent motor factors will sell the hose by the metre and you will have spare for years.
