Craig a lot of the problems with these bikes appear to be caused by the owners. Also any forum like this will
Attract the same owners to help with the self imposed problems. Ducks and runs for cover.

Dennis, my wife and I get a lot of strange looks before we leave motorcycle rallies as both bikes, (one solo, and one sidecar) get a full "pre-flight" check and engine warm up before we leave. (I even have a small 12volt compressor with an Optimate plug adaptor so I can check the tyre pressures.
The difference between most of the attendees and me, is I have 250-300 miles to get back home, they don't.

Papasmurf that just proves my point the basic design of these bikes is good properly looked after they will take you wherever you want to go. Fiddle with things you don't understand and you have trouble, some think that just because they are a simple design they can alter and adjust with impunit, you can't they protest and bite back.

Hi
Bryan not spoken to you directly for a long time, I hope you
are keeping well. Yes it would be great if all threads were more positive and pleasant unfortunately
There are always the trolls and argumentative ones to be found.

Hi Dennis, now the belly gashes are nearly healed and I'm more mobile I expect to be out rather more than of late. In fact the very first real outing (subject to the result of the first trial drive later today) will be this weekend at the BSAOC National Rally at Market Harborough. Then there is the MadMike thing sometime soon I think
Positivity work for me :)
