Does anyone have a copy of the fitting instructions, / wiring diagram for the eureka, (cheap), electronic ignition system.
I've had an (unsuccesful), google around and found none in PDF etc, I have the ignition system already fitted but would like a diagram for testing purposes when I get into the electrical checking to see where my spark went.

thanks

I have emailed the manufacturer to get them to ammend the missing 12V POSITIVE earth connection that has been displaced off the bottom of the doc. This basic ignition could be used on other British bikes as long as the auto advance unit was kept in place.....I would still keep the points stuff in the tool box...just in case.

The main reason I wanted it was to check that mine is correctly wired and so I'd be able to fault find on it as it's already fitted, (was on when I bought the bike), it was starting then suddenly wasn't and I'm building a mental list of items to check in order.
I have the points plate and, (I assume), the full complement of bits to return it to points, which I'm half tempted to do as it's been a while since I've set points and ignition timing, (Citroen 2cv6 I used to have) and I find it a very therapeutic exercise knowing you've changed them and set them yourself.
But the electronic ignition set and forget is tempting too.

Hi Dennis and thanks. I do use "Word" but deleted my "Open office Suite" not to worry though. It will be interesting if the manufacturer bothers to reply, most times they don't. I guess if I ever bought one it would come with the instructions fully shown (they are the same as the on-line download) Quite a cheap system really and slightly tempted to buy one, but perhaps I'm just looking for something to fiddle with. Best regards....Les
