Love it Paul! (Although you need to get George Lucas to direct your videos from now on!) Back in 1959 there was a 350 Bighead Westerner advertised in the US magazines but no-one seems sure if any were actually made, none have surfaced so far anyway. When does yours hit the track?

Hi Mark, it would have been easy for RE to produce such an engine. We have a dyno booked for Wednesday for some setting up and any last minute adjustments to this new machine, that was the first time it ran since being built in the video, timing and carburation settings were just guessed to get it running, then we will be heading for Anglesey for a track day on Friday and round 2 of the BHR racing on Saturday / Sunday this coming weekend. Regards, Paul.

How do you graft a big head onto a 350? Is it an original big head or a Hitchcock's manufacture?

John,

as the title to the video says, it's a SHORT STROKE engine, so 70mm x 90mm it isn't! What else could you do (if you had the kit) to build an engine with a 500 top end that still ended up with 350cc?
