What oil do you use in your 5-speed box?
I've got EP80 in mine, for no other reason than having some spare on the shelf. Seems to work ok, but I'm curious what others use.

Simple gearboxes like these are really not fussy. Your policy of using what you've got sounds OK to me.

Classic C5 Euro 4 at the moment.
Also CBf250.

EP90 is the recommended oil in the manual, not easy to find. EP80 or 80w/90 should be fine.

It's in the oils section of our host's catalogue, part number SILK65 80w-90 gear oil. Their choice for 5 speed; I've used it for 10 years with no problems.
