Has anyone attempted this and ,if so, will the bushes have to be destroyed in the process ?
many thanks

Thanks John I thought as much. I have a new pair on order but I could only find them in India for a Sixty 5, so they may take a while to arrive.

It would help if you said what bike it is for? However, if you're buying for a 65 or other post 2000 Indian Bullet why not get them from our Hosts? If they are rubber (Silentbloc) bushes the easiest way is to burn them out with a blowlamp and then cut out the inner sleeve with a hacksaw. You will destroy the paint but the removal alternatives are really time consuming and messy, trust me!

Find somebody with a press and he will push them out and press the new ones in, takes about 10 mins

Hello there,
Funny, I was going to ask the same question... So here is mine for Norm : to push the silent blocs out with the press, do I push it from the inside (with a metal rod ) ?
Thank you for your answer

Claude, just push from one side lower bush will come out the other side, you can either continuing pushing straight through or push the first bush back out , very simple with a press

Claude I should have added I use a thick washer on the bush close to the OD of the bush so you are pushing the outer edge of the bush not from the middle
