Anybody seen the Watsonian outfit they have done for the Continental GT? There is an article in MCN this week. I don't particular like outfits but this one looks ok. You can pretend you're Wallace and Grommit (although which one is up to you).

Sorry, I never could see the point of outfits. To me they negate all the advantages of a motorcycle without adding anything at all. Might as well have 4 wheels and get out of the rain. And yes, I did have one for a few thousand miles. Personal opinion of course.

I agree. But i would like to have a go with one just so i could put the Missus in and see her face as we attempt to overtake something (err....like Robin Reliant). I've had her on pillion on my old bikes (Bandit 600 and a VFR) and i only know i've gone too fast or performed some 'other scary manoeuvre is when she slaps the back of my Helmet (oooeer). So to see her face go white with terror would be an amusing change!!!

I agree with Pete, there isn't really much point to them nowadays; they really belong with bubble cars, Bond three wheelers and the like as almost-cars that were built for people who couldn't quite afford a proper car. Along comes the Mini; four wheels, four seats, four cylinders, four stroke and a roof and you could afford one, and that's it. However, there is a certain amount of fun to be had just because they look different; I think the outfit in MCN looks great and i wouldn't mind running one for a bit as a second (or maybe third) set of wheels!

The 29hp 535GT pulling a side car, solo it has all on pulling the rider never mind a sidecar+ passengers, how embarrassing, This bike is "Supposed" to be a Café Racer. I thinks RE India should go back to drawing board with this engine.
