Hi colin. No i didnt fit a one way valve. In the new drilling. Which i drilled at 8mm. To be honest the amount of pressure in the oil tank really could only be cured by the large breather. but just the same as you i am not fond of this big pipe going up and over the back wheel so i reverted to blocking it up. Ed what diameter did you drill the hole from the timing side through to the oil tank,

OK chaps I can see the sense in reducing the pressure in the oil tank but why the drilling between the timing chest and the oil tank..is it above or below the oil level line?.. And what are the options for the breather pipe.. As per some of the other posters I don't want an ugly great breather pipe..

I hope you are not being serious with that question. Putting the hole below the oil level line will pretty much fill the engine with oil!!!!.

Won't the drilling through into the timing chest just cause a build up of pressure there and cause a leak?

Which takes me back to my previous question..why the hole between the oil tank and timing chest?..
