Have this early 500 Twin, albiet
with later 'tomahawk' cyl.heads.
Regardless, manifold is still
only 7/8" passage. Stock Amal
that came with it a 276/DU/1AT
thus 1" throat, that looks OK
Have read several times that
these 500 twins are 'under-
carbed'. Question is there any
benefit to installing a 1 1/16"
389/12 Monobloc, possibly from
a Interceptor, when the manifold
is resricted anyway. Incidentally,
what is the difference.between
375 376, and 389 Monoblocs? Also
have a sexy float extension too,
does anyone recall what thread the
the float end screws are ass they
need to be longer.
