No Enfields of any type were seen today, but there was a marked increase in the number of both meriden and hinckley triumphs.

After the terrible events here a few weeks ago, the army have stepped up their presence in the streets, but even more interesting is the appearance of the Paris security teams on Trails bikes.

You get a nice feeling that somebody here knows what they should be doing as regards effective security. Especially if they can chase you up stairs!

Paris will soon be a no-go area for pre-2000 motorcycles "for emissions reasons" if the local authority has its way. I don't have the full dertails but it has been raised on the French RE forum. Needless to say the French equivalent of MAG is fighting this. Moves to ban older vehicles using Paris are of course enthusiastically supported by the local motor trade... A.

Opps!

I meant 'Bruno' the beamer, silly me!

No offence intended to our dear friend Bertie the Bullet.

.......And it's not a "trials" bike, it's a trail bike. Common mistake, a lot of folks assume they are the same, like all ball point pens are "Biros".😉
