II looked at them last year and thought they were OK. Nearly bought one, but decided I'd get another year out of my old lid. Might take a look at my local Lidl if they're back in stock. BTW I've had their jacket and trousers for the last four years, no problems, still waterproof. Not "designer" gear but practical enough for me.

I bought a tank bag some time ago from them, dual height, with extra pockets, and waterproof cover. Good kit!

I have the tank bag very good, I also bought an alarmed disc lock I think for something silly like £9.99 some months later I saw the exact same thing in a motorcycle dealers for about £40.00 I wonder were they got them ?

I've had my Lidle flip up two years, two European trips on the Honda, quite a few trips to Ireland and every day use. It's comfortable, as quiet as ones costing many many times more, came with a range of Velcro adjusting pads to ensure a good fit and a spare visor! What's not to like? It's has passed the Euro tests and is good enough for the German market. Incidently I was wearing it when I bumped the Bullet and fell off, kissed the Tarmac with the chin piece and it did what it was supposed to do.

I had a look this morning. Looks good to me, spare visor, sun-shield (which seemed ok to me). All that for £40! Only problem is they seemed a bit 'snug' - I have a big head (I know...!) and found the XL too small...

I bought an intercom system (wired, for pillion) from Lidl a couple of years ago and am still using it - £8.99 I think! Also, £25 for boots in Aldi not so long ago.

All in all, I think it's good kit at sensible prices and I'll continue to buy.

I bought a Lidl skid-lid a year or so back and find it an ideal summer helmet. If you can wait a week or two the price will drop every few days too, I paid less than a tenner for mine after they had been on sale for a couple of weeks. As PO51 says though, the sizes are a bit like the clothes in "prima-ni" and the size indicated does n't necessarily reflect the actual size so best try it on before buying.

Thanks for the comments, perhaps it will go back to see if they have reduced the price.
