Lookout Haynes, the Scalythack on line electrical manuals are in labour and could be delivered soon..

The other thing that confuses newbies is where these components are to be found in case of suspected failures..

Example: where is the starter solenoid located on the machine? Now you could use arrows on a picture of the bike.

Gwilly, I like your idea of having a diagram showing where all the components are, in the way you describe. I also think it would be handy to show where all the connectors are in a similar way. That's a project for another day!

Where all the connectors are and where they should be appears to be two very separate things.
