Hi everyone, Ive recently bought a new honda cb 500f ( reg jan '15) it comes with full honda luggage, givi screen, and leo vince exhaust. Under 300 miles, as new. With apologies for butting in, but PeterF you might like to see my comments under my posting "What Next." Honda CBF500 ABS, totally competent bike, and probably underrated, but for me it feels top-heavy, and after many years of my 2002 Classic 500 lacks character. Mind you the Honda also lacks infuriating clutch, the habit of stalling at traffic lights, inability to engage neutral at traffic lights, brakes requiring massive anticipation etc. etc. In spite of all this I'm seriously considering returning to the fold of the true believers and swapping for a newish EFI.

to be honest the cb 500 is a fantastic bike, the engine is very torquey for a 500, but the riding position doesnt suit my dodgy knee, its slightly more rearsetted than a bullet, and a feet forward chrome cruiser isnt on the list, so Ill be happy with a bullet, Ive had 2 500 classics in the past, a '92 athena green, and a 2001 black one.
