I Awhl...Most, got a speeding ticket on "Ollie" today. Turns out to be a curious officer. Didn't ask for license. registration, insurance...nothing, just said "thought you might have been goin' a little fast" as he's gawkin first one side, then the other @ my bike, THEN...the question, "hey, is that a hi-lo transfer case control?" I said "Nope, neutral finder"(not a tractor)It really went downhill from there but, 18 minutes later I'm pullin away without a ticket. First time I've EVER been pulled over on/because of "Ollie", How bout that?

I have found if you ride am Enfield you spend a lot of time talking with all sorts of people, which part of the world does Ollie live I am sure he would never go over the speed limit

Armstrong's are the same. I always add an extra 20 minutes onto my expected arrival time in case I get an ex squaddie wanting a chat about them, I've heard quite a few good tales.

Seeing we've headed nicely off-topic and why not?

Armstrong's and the later Harley-D versions are great 'bouncy' bikes. Had to be.

Does anybody have a copy of "MILITARY MOTO MAYHEM" as I cannot get one anywhere. I'm usually good at finding things, but this time I am sadly stuffed!

I really want a copy of this, the trailer is great, see below.

That happened to me over here in sunny Denmark. On about my second ride out... I saw the police bike about fifty feet behind me and thought, "What's he up to..?". He stayed behind me for about five minutes then pulled up along side me and waved me in. I'd done nothing wrong so what the hey..

Turns out, he'd never seen a Royal Enfield before but had seen me changing gear with the right foot. He just wanted a look-see. I gave him the tour.. Neutral finder and all.

He was all praise. Nice bloke, for a copper...

Well, "Ollie" is a U.S. resident but he'd "never" do "nuthin" wrong like...speeding, nooo, seldom even gits in a hurry. That's a priddy good endure video, at 1st I thought I was watchin those "Christini AWD" bikes, that is a WILD set up on those machines, If you haven't seen'm, It's worth some google time to check those out.
