Frank could have a point, I can't remember but I think the only real earth point is the back of the battery box, check that the wires are connected and solid, pull on then they may look ok but aren't.Next I would pull the tank and unplug the coil and with the ignition on and kill switch on test the brown wire in the loom, this should have 12 volts in it.Switch the kill switch on and off to make sure that is working, power to the coil should switch on and off. If this works reconnect the wires and pull the spark plug, fit the HT lead to it, plug against the head and with the ignition on kick it over, if no spark you have a problem with either the coil,TCI unit or the pulse coil.Haven't heard of a pulse coil failing and it is not a part you can buy you have to buy it complete with the stator which isn't cheap. Keep testing and get back to us
