Hi!

Always wanted a Bullet and I am approaching mid life crisis age so why not?!?!

Must be mechanically ok, cosmetics aren't as important. Ideally would like to spend no more than £1000.

You just might get a 350 for £1K but not a 500. I think you shoul reckon on another £500 at least? REgards, Mark

Thanks Mark yes I am happy to buy a 350 and realise it's what i'll most likely get, just didn't want to exclude a 500 if someone was selling. Looking back on the posts here I can see a couple of 350's have gone in the past few months for £700 ish (one in the actual village i live in i wish i'd looked earlier).

papasmurf thanks for the link, I already have that on my watch list. I may go for it depending on the closing price, it's at the top end distance wise of where i'd like to travel.

PS, it's hard to do a quick reply on an iphone so my comment was based on average figures. There will always be some bikes that lie outside this. Mechanically Sound is also a relative term, one person's sound may not be another's! REgards, Mark

Very true! I've had 8 or 9 bikes in my time and worked on them all, but it's been a few years so would like a runner without any serious faults to ease myself in. I am happy to consider any bike that's for sale as long as it's reasonably close to £1k and a runner. Thanks!
