can i open out the slide cutaway on a monobloc from a 3 to 3-5,if so how much do i need to file away.? Thank you.Pete

Pete, the measurement on Amal slides is in 1/16" units, so a 3 would be 3/16" from bottom edge. Measure it to confirm, so you need to trim it back 1/32", i.e. half 1/16".
