That does look to be a superb restoration project. I read The Motorcycle review of the 500 twin and they rated it highly as a delightfully smooth tractable machine.

Hi together,
thanks Paul MH for making real pics out of the links:-), I seem to be too stupid.
Having ridden Redditch bikes for almost 25 years, I really felt sorry when the parts arrived and saw that it is in such nice nick with most of the hard to get parts together and a full history behind it.
I just could not break it, without asking around for someone to have it complete.

I do not want to get into restoring it myself, as I usually ride my bikes very hard, i.e. concerning what I ask from the engine, I don't mean my riding talent:-(, and therfore tune my engines.
With the Bullet this is fairly straight forward. The big twins have enough power for me but are too expensive. The 500 Twin however would be too expensive to get to a reasonable output.
Therefore, I'll stick to the Bullets and the 500 Twin needs to go.

However, if it does not go, it will be broken soon, as I have an offer from Allan for a frame that I need to confirm very soon and I don't want to be stuck with a frame AND a bike in the end.
