Sorry, forgot to mention I'll include a return address as well. Good timing, as the bulb holder on my *l*ctr*-X (Norm might be reading this) is rattling around in its Wipac unit with one of the mazak tags broken off. A.

Norm, is there ANY component of these bikes that did not cause you grief?!? I gather the spacer on the front wheel spindle has been fairly trouble free... A.

Adrian I'm not to sure, but the front spindle caused me quite a bit of trouble when I fitted the early Bullet legs so that I could at least run a decent front mudguard that would stop my boots from filling with water (fitted a 350 guard) but when I tried to fit the wheel for some reason I had to move the bearings 12mm on the spindle to get the wheel to center up between the forks. One side was easy, just turn it down but I had to make up a sleve for the other side. I'm sure there must have been something on it that didn't fail or cause me grief, let me think about it for a while

Hi Adrian,

Lamp arrived intact, just perfect, went right in.

Do you need the wiring with the spade terminals for your bike (H4 or asymmetric lamp), or does it already have them?

Glad that's the right bit, perhaps they rest of my Don't Ditch It You Never Know When It Might Come In Handy Box (DDIYNKWIMCIHB), can be traded for stuff I can actually use. You could probably swab the inside of the glass out as I suggested, though really isopropanol, if you have any, might be better than meths for leaving less residue.

Norm - I give up. For what it's worth, the 350 Machismo mudguard (5 speed model) would have fitted the Electra forks, I don't know if you would have been able to get hold of one back then, but this is now the first item in the mudguard section in our Hosts' on-line accessory catalogue!

By strange co-incidence, wasn't Ddiynkwimcihb the site of a former Soviet lawn-mower plant in Kazakhstan?

A.
