New EFI Electra Woodsman is stuttering when setting off. Not on tickover, but on accelerating during the first couple of miles. It feels like a misfire and there is a lack of power. It clears and once warmed up is fine. This has only surfaced in the last couple of weeks. 3500 miles, four oil changes, everything else is fine. Water in petrol? Any thoughts/

mine too!

regardless of other posts, my Woodsman sits there idling for about 90 seconds. I don't have the problems then

But if I just start and pull away, then the first two junctions are likely to see him stall.

Mine has always done that though, not sure what yours is doing.

Sounds to me that your auto-decompressor is sticking on, take it out and chuck in the bin.

My thoughts on chucking the auto decompressor in the bin is the next thing to go in the bin would be the sprag

No he did'nt he kept it!
The problem cleared with a long run
But the bike is now up for sale with A7 motorcycles in Langholm
It is running perfectly with four oil changes and just 4200 on the clock
