I'd swear it's fuel starvation Thack,but for the fact I fitted the new ign system. Think I'll take Norms advice and go back to points tomorrow, just to rule that out.

Checking the fuel filter in the tank would not be a bad idea. Mine used to glob up with a bit of water in the tank and behave just as you mention.

And another little trick that has caught me out was external fuel filter getting an air lock in it and I have also had an airlock just in the hose going to the Micarb because the hose had a "S" bend in it

And this weeks winner is----------Norm,for pointing me in the direction of the fuel pipe, which had a nasty kink in it! Pipe changed and lengthened an inch, and Tinker is now running perfectly, right through the rev range. Many thanks to all for such good advice. Happy and safe riding chaps.
