Hi,
Just wondering if there is any type of fuel gauge that can
be retro fitted to a 2013 EFI bullet, instead of the useless
warning gauge they come out with. Live in Perth W.Aus
and runs can be quite long and petrol stations can be
few and far in-between.
Cheers

Most cheap or old-style fuel gauges worked with a float, like the one in a lavatory water tank. It would require cutting a hole in the tank to mount it and then find a petrol gauge that can be mounted somewhere with its attendant wires to read it. Just stop at every service station every couple of hours. fill up, and have a rest. This is how everyone does long rides around Australia.

Leon a bit like going from Mildura to Broken Hill, over 400ks and only one little fuel stop in between and from memory it only has 2 pumps, not sure how you would get on if they lost power, probably have a generator setup I guess because there is nothing either side for 200ks and when I say nothing that is what I mean

Not sure if two photos of Winifred Wells on her Royal Enfield 350 will appear. Before leaving for Sydney and on her return to Perth from Sydney.
