Hi all - I bought my lovely Black and Chrome EFI Woodsman brand new in January this year. Just over 4000 on the clock, four oil and filter changes and new Avon Roadriders. Just thinking of moving it on for another experience as the wife wants a two seater, but not really sure how much it is worth as they are fairly rare bikes and certainly in the black and chrome colour scheme. It has been properly looked after as you would expect, and a lot of mileage is out in the country. It cost me £5k. Any thoughts welcome.

Put a double seat on it!

Unless you took them off (I did) you should still have the rear footrests!

Even better, buying the wife a good size rucksack gives you extra carrying capacity, YAY!

Another problem solved!!!

I have the Classic 500 EFI Bullet with a single seat, I have fitted a rack, this also allows me to fit a rear seat to the rack if ever I need to take a passenger, I do not know if this set up will be ok for the Woodsman but I am sure our hosts will be able to advise, check out the luggage section

No idea what it would be worth... but you did just ride past me on Great George Street on a rather fetching black RE with a custom plate... is this the woodsman in question?

No Michael that is the 1950s style 500cc Bullet which is actually a 2008 pre-unit 4 speed classic with sports pipe, open Mk1 Amal carb and a host of other extras I picked up 6 weeks ago and have since done 1000 miles on it. A few niggles, as ever, eg broken clutch cable and various other things but it is a comfortable bike with 4 gallon tank that gives a range of 250 miles.

You got a woodsman and a classic iron bullet? Sounds familiar?

YAY! Nice to have two!

Yup and eyeing a continental gt but only when our hosts bring out narrower bars and other ergonomic tweaklets. Wooders might have to go, however. From having 3 Hinksville triumphs i now am an enfield man
