Hi the oil pump spindle has broken on my 250 clipper where it goes into the oil pump plungers.I have just put new shells roller bearing in but left lefthandside intact, so have not touched the oil pump. Had it running but no oil going to rockers so had to investigate,any idea why this should happen.? Regards Mike.

No oil going to rockers is probably a weak spring or poorly seated ball bearing in the oil pressure relief valve which is under a screw the top of the oil filter chamber. Replacement parts from our Hosts. Pin breaking off pump spindle is probably because it was mis aligned during assembly or plungers jammed somehow during rebuild.
