Colleagues, do any of you know a source of the various types of connectors used in the latest Bullets? In particular I'm looking for the connector that plugs into the ECU, plus its opposite-gender equivalent.

I'm asking because I want to do some experiments which involve monitoring some of the ECU inputs and outputs. Right now I'm sliding pins into the connectors, but it's a real bodge and a cleaner alternative would be tremendously helpful.

Our hosts only sell complete wiring looms, so I don't feel bad about asking in this forum. I assume the connectors must be "off-the-shelf" rather than custom-made, but there are so many types out there I've no idea where to start looking.

papasmurf: I thought it was obvious what I meant: "Only sell complete wiring looms, as opposed to the individual connectors."

They don't sell the individual connectors.

I have to agree, nicely, with Papasmurf.
If those are not what you're looking for then perhaps a more courteous response to a helpful contributor would have been in order.

Thack, Vehicle Wiring Products is a company selling just that, everything to do with vehicle wiring. I think they are in the midlands, they advertise in Classic Motorcycle Mechanics. No need to search e bay.

Thack, I can't find the engine management connectors...

See if the manufacturer is stamped on the unit, or if there are code numbers on the harness connector, and try them in google, otherwise, could be a long haul.

Good luck with the testing, you may have to keep doing the voodoo on tht e efi connector for now!
