Ok - understood. It's hosted and templated by Squarespace BTW. Which was all fine till the floods in New York when the whole thing nearly fell over. They've changed the hosting since then. Stephen

Hi Dennis

I am 6.1 and I find the GT a very good fit, you need to at least sit on one and have a test ride, nearly all of the dealers seem to have a demo bike.

I will at some point fit lower Clip-ons, my other bike is a 1969 Bonneville, so the big plus point for me is the Electric Start,

I have done about 500 miles now and starting to scratch a bit and I am certainly not dissapointed with the ride and handling.

dennis tc.

you can have mine which is just properly run-in 1800miles, recently fitted Motad Can & K&N Filter, I also have the stock which I will can include. Any Enfield fan will tell you these bikes need around 2000 miles on the clock before the engine runs to its full potential & is properly Run-in & Free. My bike is Mint, the only Reason I am thinking of selling it is because I am looking to buy or have built a "Honda CR 750 four Hailwood Replica" If your interested in my GT,let me know here

Hi Greaser, I've only just read your message, thanks for your response. At the moment I am advertising two bikes for sale to fund the purchase of a Continental, I am interested but it will probably take some weeks before I am ready. I don't want to waste your time. If it's ok with you call me on my mobile 0756 336 2172 I live in Solihull near our host. Many thanks Dennis

Hi Dennis

No problem I am no rush to sell, I also have another bike I use regularly so the mileage on the GT wont change very much & if I don't sell it will be put to bed for the winter around mid October-ish...
Thanks for putting your mobile contact number on here, but before i phone you let me know when you are ready to possibly buy....
I am in South Yorkshire so not that far away --------

Good Luck with the sale of your bikes

Has anyone else had to replace bulbs on their 535GT,i had to on mine after 1800 miles, I believe its down to poor quality bulbs & the vibration especially if switched ON for daylight running.

Any other issues please pop them on here.

Thanks

Hi Greaser,
My headlight burned out during my first ride. The bulbs are not covered under the warranty however, my dealer felt/was obligated to replace it as I had not yet even had a chance to get the required state safety inspection. No problems since then.
