Hi,
I am looking to convert my very late 350 classic from 4 to 5 speed. I see that Mr H sells a kit (90110) has anyone installed the kit? Any ideas what I will need other than the kit.

thanks.

I did this last year with no problems - and the difference is like night and day.

While it was all apart, I took the trouble to upgrade the clutch, with the usual bits and bobs. You might like to do the same.

Also, just one word to the wise. It was only after installing the clutch - and finding that the primary chain was skipping when I tested it - that I discovered that our friends in Chennai had nailed the clutch centre together, on the p*ss (which required a strip back and a call to Mr H) so it might be worth your visually checking all of the bits when you receive them.

I agree. I've got a 5-speed on my 350, and it's great. I've also ridden 4-speed Bullets, and the gearbox is, er, not quite as good. You won't regret it.

Hi Shane

From memory, the improved clutch repair kit; clutch pad with bearing; and English cable.

Do it! You'll have a different bike!

I'm not sure if I'm missing something here but the upgrade of the clutch requires a new clutch or at least a new clutch hub to suit the 5 speed mainshaft. Sorry I don't know what is in the kit supplied but maybe it includes these bits
