--------- ah yes, but in this case we have a new ORIGINAL Lucas Stator where the holes for mounting are a transitional fit over the 3 shafts.....ie}-- there's no room for movement, and the clearance came "automatically" as it were............I only showed the gauge in that position as it photographed better that way..........

------------in the meantime, as I wait for a few spars to arrive, I thought I'd give the new, front disc an "upgrade" as it were......I've seen several different "cool dude" styles but opted for this one 'cos it's easy to do !!------------------------------

Hi guys---------------- here's the latest photos showing the front disc finished and fitted, the primary cover fitted, the L/H footrest fitted, rear wheel and disc removed pending same work as front disc....Oil strainer removed and cleaned ( Norton external canister filter to be fitted ) Both callipers to be overhauled as well >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just by way of an update}------- New rear disc supplied ( and checked for size---thanks JOHN ), drilled and fitted.......... 4 calliper pistons ordered, 2 sump plate gaskets made ( thought I'd just keep my hand "in" and save a few pence as well ) .............. .........................................

Hi guys-----------have taken the opportunity to retro-fit a Norton Commando canister oil filter... I wasn't happy with the "Conventional" position often used ie}---- Monted on the mainframe and placed just in front of the rear wheel, so I've designed a bracket and fitted it just above the R/H gearbox top..........At the same time I've smoothed out the course of the two oil feed pipes underneath -- Where can I get armoured oil hose pipe ie}---covered in braided stainless steel weave ??................................................

Alan, try Autohose on 01782 542486, I got some braided stainless hose made up for a Monobloc carb, very nice work. REgards, Mark

Thanks Mark---------have just found their website and they're "just up the road" from me at Stoke-on-Trent so will take a bike ride over there soon..........Joyce, her daughter Lucy and myself visited a cat rescue centre just outside Shrewsbury last week to drop off some donations and view those cats available for sale...........http://www.shropshirecatrescue.co.uk/ ------- Maybe next Spring ???

I was up in E. Yorkshire yesterday collecting that smashing little red Honda CG125 from PeteF......Lovely views across the moors etc.... and we even saw some "Fraking" protesters !!..................... At least that's what I THINK they said, LoL !!
