I am a member, but I find the fees rather high to.
I belong to a few small organisations who continue to produce a hard copy magazine (using up the majority of their income) and I wonder why in this age of information technology. Surely on-line is the way to go.
UK members don't have the option of the Gun as a PDF either.

Reading is not a problem but as your REOC site has the UK & O/Seas crossed over there is no wonder I am confused.

I find this cost a shame as I dont get to attend many of the monthly meets due to work commitments, and I have no use of the web site, but do like to meet the guys when I can but cannot justify this amount of money on membership.

My apologies I was looking at the overseas form, so take back what I said although I still think £25 to a new member is a lot, however I will lump this cost and join up as they local club is a nice bunch and I dont want to lose touch with them.

You tight a**e 'Bertie'. So you've been coming to our meetings without even being in the club! Might let you off as you say we're 'a nice bunch' (Kent branch) but you could have renewed for less if you had not broken your membership. Glad you are re-joining though - you missed a good Rally. Hope we see you at next club night (tues 12th Aug.) Regards, Mick.
(For what it's worth the discount from my insurers for being a member of an approved club is the same as the membership fee so in reality it costs nothing!)

Just Googled some others, Triumph OC £20, Norton OC £19.50, Bantam £18 although all have higher fees for associate members. So the REOC is a bit higher and the others don't seem to have a joining fee. For many years the REOC was cheaper than most, maybe it'll stay the same for a while! REgards, Mark

My life is getting shorter & I will not use much more on this topic. Look at the UK membership and look at the overseas membership forms, forget about PDF or doc they are merely different formats of the same document. pax vobiscum :)
