OK, here's the crankshaft extension made and fitted, plus slotted for the key..........It's the piece from the rusty area up to the silver join line..........It's screwed on really tight AND Loctite 270 used on the threads..........Image

Now the two spacers for the rotor were calculated and one turned down to length-------------A new rotor extended nut was designed and made...........We need to make a keyway in the long spacer in order that the key may pass through to the rotor..!!..................Image

-----------hang-on chaps!!........Let's wait 'til it's up and running..............Max run-out of the new rotor was 0.005" using a Verdict DTI.......... (But thanks for your support-----------I shall wear it often !!) LoL !!

Alan I wrap H's plastic thing round the rotor then slide the stator over it. Fit & tighten washers & nuts, pull the plastic thing out. Job done ;)
