2006 Bullet 350 with right sided 5-speed gearbox. When I change gear, particularly going up, I have to turn the toe of my boot inwards -- because my foot won't fit between the kickstart and the gear lever. This is starting to cause problems with my right knee. I've had a look at the various kickstart options in our hosts' catalogue, and the one that folds in at the bottom might be the solution.

Anyone had similar problems, found other ways round it, tried the bottom-folding kickstart?

Cheers, Ed.

Hi Ed
the kicksart lever used to dig into my leg on my electrax fitted bottom fold much better and it seems longer so easier starting, good buy.

I had a similar problem which I cured simply by moving the kickstart lever round on the splines, so it was less vertical. It still worked fine for kickstarting.

Thanks for the advice. I've angled the kickstart down a bit and things seem to be better. I'll give it a few weeks to see if the knee gets better before exploring solutions that mean spending money.
