Also notice where he states no buy it now price, and the questions and answers section has at least two buy it now requests! I guess this is usual practice nowadays, but I always think it either cheats the people bidding on the item, or the seller if he accepts 100 quid for something he did not realise was worth about 1000, which the auction may have run too! (Just my personal bitch!).

My gripe as well Scaly.
Every time I list something I ALWAYS say no "buy it now" and some twonk ALWAYS tries it on.
I'm afraid I get quite rude and ask them if they can read, and do they understand what the word auction means.

Well Alan,

It is a pile of parts, but at least the guy is not trying to hide anything. Whilst the very tidy superstar bullet looks very pleasant, it has the 'squared off' back mudguard which I personally don't like, but change that to a classic circular chrome guard, and we are talking a very cute bullet indeed.



I do like my EFI, but it is almost sterile to ride. Obviously, needing to sell in today's world, the bike needs to have a modern feel and ride to it.



My (other) classic engined bullet takes more concentration to ride. I have to ensure the gear has gone clonk before letting clutch out, not just 'flick' it down or up. The neutral lever is a novelty that never seems to have worn off - I love it! The clutch is three times stiffer than any modern bike, and the brakes are 'interesting', usually leading to a long gap behind the vehicle in front. ?



Somebody once said that an owners relationship with a bullet develops into something much deeper. I didn't' expect it, but it happened to me!
