I was disappointed to be told that the twin leading shoe conversion for the front brake is only made in a seven inch version. My Bitsa has a six inch front brake and a consequence it could really use a TLS setup. Has anyone made a conversion and if so how did it go? I'm quite tempted to have a crack at it but will replace my clutch with the cork plates that I have ordered first.

Simon,

the French gentleman who ended up with my '58 Bullet has managed a nice TLS conversion for the 6" brake, he has even got a 4 Leading Shoe brake version to suit double sided hubs on the late 50's models.
