Well that's it I am returning to the RE Bullet fold after a few years away and various changes of steed.
Since I got back into bikes I've gone from a 63 D1 Bantam to a 59 C15 to a 1954 B31 thence to a 1977 350 Bullet followed by a 59 Constellation (I was T Boned on this by an blind 85 year old who told me I was speeding at 30 MPH in a 60 MPH zone so at least he saw me and took the appropriate action to cure me of my wanton ways!) then a 73 Triumph Daytona which I swapped for a 1952 G9 Matchless. I sold the Matchless at Christmas and bought a 2001 Hinckley Bonneville which, in my opinion, has had a complete personality bypass and was the most sterile and boring 100 MPH+ I have ever done.. It goes stops and handles superbly and has no foibles or idiosyncrasies and the gear lever is on the wrong side......Frankly I found it BORING!.
So it's back to a 1991 350 Bullet come Saturday... I do enjoy a relaxing bimble about the countryside..These are FUN BIKES!!
