In what seems to be one of my rear free moments lately I added the last coat of Hammerite to Bertie's swinging arm a few days ago, it is now lovely and dry but since I'm already committed to decorating the kitchen over the coming weekend Bertie will not be one with his rear end until sometime next week, he has been off the road now for about a month and I am chomping at the bit as they say to get him out for a ride.
I was going to get the arm powder coated but my local coaters quoted £50 per part for the job, I thought that a little excessive so it's Hammerite for the swinging arm, chain guard, crash bar and front mudguard stays. I havnt had the chance to look on here much of late, good to see the usual assortment of interesting and informative posts, sorry Scallyback I know you mentioned a meet at the Oakdene but my feet aren't touching the ground at the mo so will have to put it off for a while. if there are any volunteers who want to paint my kitchen while I'm out riding please don't be shy !!!
