Graham - it has the Motad silencer MkII - Hitchcocks and Motad have altered the angle from the 1st ones they sold - it is carried lower - which looks better. The silencer has the little baffle in at the moment. An iridium BPR7EIX and Motul fully synthetic oil in it. That's all. I've got to go over to the office and see if the air filter has arrived. The K&N was out of stock when I ordered it. Miles, as I said 1700. My plan basically is to get a baseline reading on a dynamometer and it's probable that I will go to Torquetune in Nottingham - so I may swing by and see you and we can swap bikes. The baseline reading would be with the Royal Enfield sports silencer and the standard air filter. The baseline reading is only to satisfy my curiosity. What the guy at Hitchcock's said to me when we discussed the bike last week was that they are getting low rear wheel horsepower figures on their dynamometer, I'm not sure how low. If the 29 bhp is true and the power loss is 20% then we'd see 23 bhp at the rear wheel. I'm just guessing Hitchcocks have seen a lower figure than that. The Power Commander with the correct map should improve the power but I can't say by how much - until Hitchcocks actually release the figures there's no science to it. But I'll keep you posted. It'll be interesting to compare 2 bikes side by side. Mine runs happily at 4,000 = 70 mph, with almost clear images in the mirrors - but it feels busy but not overly vibratory.
