I hope this isn't too far off topic but I know lots of you are REOC Members and those who aren't might also be interested. The Home Counties Rally takes place on the 25th to 27th of July at Henlow Bridge Lakes fishing and campsite, Arlesey Bedfordshire, SG16 6DD. We have a field to ourselves, the site has a shop and all modern facilities and also the usual services are available in Arlesey with a pub in easy walking distance. This site is not far from the A6 and easy reach of London and the South as well as everywhere else! It's a social event and we will have a longish run on the Saturday to a good friendly pub with food available. Non REOC members are welcome to join the run or drop in and socalise but you need to be a Member to camp. Please try and come on an Enfield but if not you are still welcome. (We have a member who hasn't got a bike at all but comes for the friendly atmosphere!) Contact details are on the REOC website or ask any questions here and I'll contact you. Thanks. REgards, Mark

why not charge a little extra to non members to camp?
it seems crazy to me not to have extra revenue from non members plus if they enjoy there selfs they most probably join the club!

John,they tell me it's an insurance thing. However, if folk want to come and camp near us, they can, it's a site open to the public, after all...

Same problem we have out here Mark with non members joining in on an official Club organized ride. Club can be classed as responsible if somebody is injured and they get a smartie lawer

Another reminder! (Sorry if anyone is bored with this, it takes a lot of effort to organise a Rally which I'm finding out as a first timer, so we want it to go well) And I will buy a pint in the run out lunch stop pub for anyone that sees this. (Probably!)

Hi,

I have done a number of rallies, mainly Guzzi one's but since getting my Enfield late last year I have wanted to do a rally. I am not a member as yet but could sort that out soon. I take it that when I join I will be given prices and where to get tickets from.

Eddie, thanks for your interest. Once you are a member you can come to a branch rally for free, just pay the site for your camping. Hope to see you there! REgards, Mark
