I can't but love my good old Model G which still has the original "easy-install-and-remove" CPU. I simply install it every time I ride the bike, and remove it when I park it, to avoid theft or damage. The connection is easy, there are three connectors on the handlebar, and I just place my hands on them: The throttle control and air valve control on the right and the ignition control on the left. The CPU itself I always carry with me, it's inside my head. So far, it has never let me down completely, although I must admit that on occations it does not work perfectly. Like on the first trip last year, when it got the air valve control mixed up for a while. Seemingly it started to run the Bing programme instead of the Amal programme, so the air valve control worked backwards. I switched it off, waited a few minutes and switched it on again. Then everyting was back to normal, just as it sometimes happens with my PC. Regards, Anders F. R.
