Scaly, I can`t see putting a stud/bolt in that lug at the back curing an obviously largish leak under the engine. (it must have been large for it to be bodged in first place!)

Looking at the size of the hole, 6mm ish? It looks like it was intended for a locating dowel. Perhaps it was deemed unnecessary by factory?

Help ma boab - no bolts nuts washers in mine, both the one at the rear of the crankcase and the one near the left rider footpeg. I think gasket glu is holding the engine together. I am pretty sure I spotted a couple of cable ties and rubber bands at strategic fixing points underneath the bike. Also some blu tack appears to be wedged in to the seat mounting points. The exhaust is held in place by a woodscrew that has been hit hard by a hammer to wedge it into place. Wish I had spotted these things earlier. LOL
