Mike, if you read my original post you will find some serious suggestions about what to do next. I was worried from the beginning that the bike might not be the real thing as they are so easily faked and you must know what you're looking at if parting with hard cash! It might be genuine but without pictures I can't tell much and running the bike through the REOC machine records would always be the next step. If you can get Tribonnie to look at it he knows what he's talking about! Good luck! REgards, Mark

Hi guys----------MAICOMIKE16, I apologize to you in advance but I'm now CONFUSED.COM !!....... Since your first posting have you actually bought the bike ??.... If that's a YES then didn't the "---- no Engine No. and NOT REGISTERED " ring any alarms for you ??............OK, no good crying over spilt milk as they say.......So now we're into a "Damage Limitation" scenario and at this stage I'm going to be brutally honest and suggest that you mentally prepare yourself for the worst case situation and that is }--- it's a FAKE !!............Given it's a "specialist" type of bike and thus the limited numbers that would have been produced, then chances are that the history of each is known about ( Usually by the Owners Club etc).......A good case in point is the Honda CB750 SANDCAST models.....Alas a verbal history ( Old man owner, standing for 22 years etc. ) is no provenance at all and counts for nothing..What's needed is DOCUMENTED proof--- and that's where a trusted, proven source such as those mentioned on here, is much preferred along with PHOTOS and a review by the Enfield Owners Club............I sincerely hope you have chanced-on the genuine article but my "Buying antenna" tells me otherwise..........PS}---How did you get to know about this bike in the first place and... Am I right in guessing you to be PRE-40 years old rather than POST-40 ??

It SHOULD be possible to do this by clicking on another person's previous photo and get TINYPIC. Do it that way. Just trying it myself but can anyone give a straight answer how to do it? I THINK it needs resizing on Tinypic to 640 x 480. You'll see that when you get there. Alll the best, Chris

Pictures: Have a look at the recent UNIQUENESS message, towards the end. Some good words of advice there regarding posting pictures, which enabled my picture to be shown. Give it a try. -Chris

Hi MIKE------ sorry about the clandestine nature of my recent questions but from your Avatar I thought you might be a young "Jack-the-Lad" with little or no experience....but obviously not and my apologies to you for any indiscretion.......... Yes, if you can get some photos posted and include any frame Nos. that you might see ??
