I was having some problems fitting the newly rebuilt rear wheel to my basket case Series 2 Interceptor so I emailed Hitchcocks to try and establish whether the spindle spacer that came with all the other bits was actually the right one. To my surprise Allan emailed me back at 9.30 in the evening to say he'd checked some of his own bikes and listing the actual dimensions of the possible rogue spacer against the part numbers so I could check. I ordered the spacer (along with some other parts,) that I needed and it arrived in 24 hours, fitted perfectly and solved the problem. Thanks to Allan and everyone else at HMC, you don't get that service anywhere else!

Hi Mark, I emailed HMC at about 10am our time looking for something and to my surprise Allan replied straight away, must have been 11pm his time and he was still in the office

Hi guys---------- in the "Classic Honda" world then David Silvers is the Hitchcocks equivalent with similar early backgrounds--- growth and excellent turn-round service....It's people like this that make owning these old bikes a pleasure.......
