In the film "War of the Worlds" didn't the invading aliens have three fingers and three eyes ?? ( and green skin ??).....and probably rode green motorbikes in their spare time ??....Sorry SCALY, couldn't resist it !! LoL..........PS, apart from the title does anyone know a common factor that directly links the two actual films themselves ??.......Double WAMMY points if you get this one. !!

Ooooo. Trivia. So what links the two War of the Worlds films. Besides HG Wells (I don't think Alan had him in mind when he asked the question), it would be Gene Barry.

Almost there Barry Q...Yes, both of the actors who played the leading characters in the 1953 film ( Gene Barry and Ann Robinson ) also appeared with Tom Cruise ( and that precocious little brat Dakota Fanning ) in the 2005 version...They make a cameo appearance at the very end as the Grandparents waiting in the house doorway along with Tom Cruises wife, for the safe arrival of the family....Blink and you miss it !!!
