Black boot polish lettering!

I did not want to use enamel paint on the engines block's lettering and then decide that I did not like the result, so a little black shoe polish got used instead.

Even stands out from a distance!

I think I will go for the black or maybe very dark green, but it looks good, and no, I'm not highlighting it in Ferrari red, It's a Royal Enfield, not a spaghetti bolognese!

"Bull it" ??? Aaarrgghhhh! I just cannot believe that I did not see that one coming!

Yes, it's parade gloss! No, it better not melt! It will be replaced with enamel paint soon hopefullly.

Yes, these are mine!

And Yes! It's often off-road, but there's no way I could leave Thunderbolt in a dirty condition. Pity they don't make dark green shoe polish!

Scaly:

It's been a long time since I 'bulled' anything. Maybe I should have a go at my saddle? I do keep the bike clean though.

Nice boots.. no need for show parade. An inventive use for boot polish though. Aren't you afraid that the wax will make painting later very difficult?

Well, no. It's only shoe polish, A little soapy water should take that off!

I am offended that your bike is not muddy, mucky and covered in salt corrosion. Why are your engine cases not so pitted that you could move in to one of the pits? I polish my engine cases once a year with a mop and they last looked that good in April 2013 (well, not *THAT* good, just better than they do now). Currently, for my engines cases, imagine the titanic - but as it is now, junk. Ain't no amount of boot polish will sort them out!!!
