OK there were three of there at 13.00 (halfway through the advertised assembly-time, and we waited till 14.00, the advertised departure time but no sign of any organiser, so the three of us set off on the advertised ride along the Severn Valley Railway ending at Bridgnorth Station and back to the cafe but saw no other bikes at all, not RE nor anything else. Where were you, Alan R?

Wotcha.

I rolled up at the cafe just turned noon - saw some shady looking characters lurking inside . . . so I joined 'em for a cuppa. ( Not to mention breakfast ) Next stop was Bewdley station . . . and another cuppa. We played a game of "dodge the rain" as far as Highley station . . and this time it was an ice cream. In round two of "dodge the rain", the rain won, so we took refuge at Bridgnorth station. All in all, a good day out - 91 miles on the clock when I got back, and not too damp. Roll on the next one.

Oh, almost forgot . . . . . here's the piccies

OH DEAR !!! -------------- I really am sorry. As you can see from Lone Wolf's photo's we were there--- but given the forecast poor weather decided to leave Quatt Cafe' at about 1 o'clock in order to get a ride in at all ( You literally must have just missed us---I'm surprised no one said about seeing us go----did you approach from the Bridgnorth end ?? ) I thought I saw a Bullet with single saddle and a light green tank in Bewdley. Thank you for turning up anyway and for the next "Bash" I'll have to organise things a bit better. Consider my A**e well & truly kicked !!! Best regards----------- Alan R

Hello again brave Bulleteers !!! having slept on this and woken with an attack of conscience I would like, once again to offer my sincere apologies for yesterday ---- this was my first attempt at organising and definitely some lessons learnt (alas at your expense). Please don't be put off by this and for next month's "Bullet Bash" I'll give out my mobile No. for people to confirm their intentions on the morning, an earlier assembly time (10 am), with just 1hr before departure-----ie less waiting around and more "ride-time". Those who want to have a breakfast there can always turn up earlier if required. Hope to see you all at MAY's REVITALISED !!! Shropshire "Bullet Bash" ????? Tail between legs----- Alan R

It wasn't a problem Alan. We had a great ride and only got caught once in a slight shower. We stopped off at Arley station and was under cover when the hail storm hit.

Looking forward to the next one.
