And why not indeed, and...

I just love the fire extinguisher, is it one of those brass ones that you have to pump?

At the chance of being 'off topic', any chance of a couple more pics of that lovely looking BSA? (What a beautiful green!)

Here's a tip lads;

When you post your pictures as above, write your text and then type

before you add the image code. That way, your picture under your text and will not be disturbed by it.

Sorry EXILE--- I typed ( ) instead of < > didn't I ?? I'll have another go after this listing..---------Hi SCALY, the bike is a 1971 BSA WD B40 and saw service in Germany with the Army of the Rhine..I believe that at one time it was used by your friends and mine}---The Red Caps !!!.........It has Boyer Electronic ignition and a Wassell Mk1 Concentric to replace the original WD side-draught item (which I still have)... Standard gearing for these was the trials ratio cluster ( Hence the Twin-shock boys desire to get hold of them) and is VERY similar to the Bullet 4-speed box ie}--3 close then a HUMUNGUS GAP up to 4th....The frame is much beefier than the equivalent civvy one....... I use it as my "Everyday" machine, hence the rainwater left on there this evening as I'm out on it again tomorrow morning ( Urgent despatches for the General Post Office )...For the Summer months I wear the full camouflage uniform including a large shoulder bag, map container, APC drivers hood ( you know the type, SCALY )... I'm after a pair of binoculars in a leather container......I think a promotion to "Sergeant" is also warranted !!----------------------Now lets have another go

It's a steep learning curve Alan, but you'll get there. The last attempt seems to have been spot on.

Hope you liked the picture of my missus in her leathers...

APC driver's hood!

should have asked for a picture of bike and rider!

what with map holder, bag and stuff, you add the bino's and the term 'corporal clutter' comes to mind. LOL!

That is a right beautiful despatch bike, and much easier on the eye than one of those plastic Armstrong 350's!
