Rocinante. Rocinante was the horse that belonged to Don Quixote. He was a guy of a certain age who decided to hit the road and have some adventures. He got an old horse and dressed him up as a charger. Rocinante means something like "used to be an old nag". Well I paid £400 for my Rocinante and did it up to look and go really well.
So, pretty apt. Watch out you windmills!

Hello Sofiaspin, B&B on Barra is called Endeavour and is owned by Jo and Jill Davies. Both motorcyclists. Tel 01871810757. Further information on internet. Great people.

Do you know there is still a ferry to the Isle of Skye. Look up Skye Ferry on internet. Great biking road to ferry then on Skye.
Good campsite and bunkhouse on North Uist. MOORCROFT HOLIDAY CAMPGROUND. 01876580305. Bunkhouse is superb and I stayed in it for 2 nights rather than put the tent up. Nearest pub/eating place is the WESTWARD INN. Any questions phone me on 01670814418
I tried to put a message on forum but nothing came up so hopefully this one will.
