A nice run out yesterday to the North West section of the VMCC, Worden Park gathering at Leyland Lancs. Good mix of bikes, a few Enfields of varying type. Always a good morning out. The Model G breezed there and back, 68 miles round trip including a few miles of motorway at a heady 50mph!
Unfortunately my pals 1960 Bonnie clapped out on the return run, fortunately 200 yards from my house. Plenty of fuel and a good spark. Very odd. We'll be checking it out tonight.

Did anyone else go?

I went, but was on the last minute, I may have been arriving as you were leaving. I was on a trials Bullet with my son an a DR125 Suzuki.

Yes I saw you as I was leaving. I remember thinking "that Bullet would be ideal for the 2014 Beamish Trial". I did it in 2013 on a very unsuitable touring Goldie.
