Well many of you will remember the cold war and the so called 4 minute "early warning". Well here is a bit more than 4 minutes warning for you. the next MadMikes Gathering will be on Sunday 15th June, at The Bulls Head, which is on the A47 about 3 miles north of Mallory Park in Leicestershire. Good food and beer will be available ans well as loads of nice interesting classic bikes. the date has been picked to avoid clashing with TT week, the Banbury Run and the May Bank Holidays. It also allows a friend of ours to return from foreign shores in time to join us. Everybody is invited. Bring your Enfields, particularly the new Conti GT, Harleys, British twins, W650 and W800's etc etc. I have ordered fine weather as usual. I shall remind you from time to time, but please feel free to keep this close to the top of the messages.

Looking forward to that Mike. Good to see you on here again.
My brother will probably ride up on his new Guzzi V7, but will I be on a Conti GT by then or my existing BMW G650, or something else???

OK then here we go with some responses. Paul I had contemplated a March Gathering but as I may still nor be able to ride I decided against it. After all i do enjoy the long distance ride of 1.5 miles from my house to The Bulls Head. Leon where did you get your Polish Enfield? I thought they were made in Injya these days. LOL. If you are coming to MMG then you had better start off now I suspect. Bryan "gatering" is a pastime in Florida I think with Gaters of the Alli variety. Stu I look forward to seeing you and hopefully a new Conti GT. Alan R your friends and all of the Brit friends/bikes will be most welcome. Everybody else is invited and I look forward to seeing you there. Remember to find me and introduce yourselves. Faces to names etc etc.

Hi MIKE------------ mention of the "4-minute warning" reminded me of the basic rules if the worst should happen viz. }--------- a)Tape your windows to stop them shattering....b)Keep a good supply of tinned goods to hand,...c)Have a sturdy table close by to shelter under,.......d) Train your children in fall-out, wash-down techniques,.... and finally e) When you do see the atomic flash, face away from it, bend over and kiss your a--e GOOD-BYE !!!
