Hi Winkie - I know a lot of the guys on here like the snail cam adjusters but I don't. In my experience the main problem is holding the wheel against the 'pull' of the chain whilst trying to get the wheel accurately adjusted. OK if there is someone else to hold the wheel but a bugger if you're on your own. I much prefer our hosts adjusters - which I find much easier to use. Once you have accurately set the rear wheel alignment (by whichever method you prefer) it can be maintained by simply counting the flats equally on each side. They definitely get my vote. Cheers. Tony.
